Teaching and research are interdisciplinary in nature and geared towards practical challenges in business and society. It trains its over 2,300 students to become highly qualified, responsible individuals. The UAS Grisons offers a range of study and further education programmes in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Computational and Data Science, Digital Supply Chain Management, Information Science, Management, Mobile Robotics, Multimedia Production, Photonics and Tourism. Its specific areas of research include applied future technologies, development in Alpine regions, and entrepreneurial management. Moreover, it also takes part in living laboratories. The participation of all university members contributes to the further development of the university of applied sciences and its quality as an institution of higher learning.
The University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons offers various Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. Its Bachelor’s degree programs in the field of business and services are Business Administration, Digital Business Management, Information Science, Service Innovation & Design, Sports Management, Tourism, as well as the Digital Supply Chain, which is a new Bachelor’s degree program starting in fall 2021. Most programs are also available to part-time students, allowing them to study while working and gain practical experience at the same time.
The Master’s program offered at the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons follows a Bachelor’s degree program and prepares students for more demanding professional roles. It is designed to be practice-oriented, and students can study either full-time or part-time. The Master of Science in Business Administration has the following specializations: Information & Data Management, New Business, and Tourism & Change.
The University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons offers a diverse range of continuing education programs that are highly target-oriented and help practitioners advance in their professional development. All training courses are offered on a part-time basis. It currently consist of: Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programs in Digital Technology & Operations, Digital Transformation, General Management, New Business Development, and Smart & Digital Marketing, Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) programs in Business Administration, eHealth, and Energy Management, Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) program in Business Administration, Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) programs in Event Management, Leadership in Public Administration and NPOs, Sports Management 4.0, and Tourism 4.0, Various shorter continuing education courses.
In addition to research & development projects, the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons also carries out service projects for its external partners. These include studies, consulting mandates, expert opinions, as well as tests, measurements, and analyses conducted and supervised by University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons lecturers and research associates using established scientific methods and tools.
